Performance Drywall was selected to support the renovation of the six-story Courtyard by Marriott in Charlotte, delivering structural upgrades and interior improvements that modernized the building while maintaining full operational integrity throughout the project.

Our team installed new exterior metal stud framing, reshaping and reinforcing the building envelope to meet updated architectural and energy-efficiency standards. The refreshed exterior continued with the addition of exterior gypsum and plywood sheathing, creating a weather-tight substrate ready for the hotel’s updated façade system.
Inside the hotel, Performance Drywall provided all interior metal stud framing, redefining room layouts, corridors, and mechanical pathways required for the updated design. We also completed the full wall insulation and drywall installation package, ensuring improved acoustics, fire protection, and guest comfort across all six floors.
