New Ground-Up Construction by Performance Drywall
Performance Drywall was proud to support the multi-building expansion of Mebane Town Center, delivering the full structural framing package for Buildings 5, 6, and 7. This project required precise coordination, load-bearing systems expertise, and efficient execution across three simultaneous ground-up structures.

PDI provided complete load-bearing metal stud framing, forming the structural backbone for each building and supporting all vertical and horizontal loads required for multi-tenant commercial use. This framing system was paired with exterior gypsum sheathing, creating a durable and code-compliant building envelope ready for final façade installation.
Inside each building, Performance Drywall completed the interior metal stud framing, defining floor plans, mechanical pathways, and tenant layouts with accuracy and consistency. The project also included installation of pre-engineered metal floor trusses and metal floor decking, allowing for speed, strength, and long-span structural performance throughout the upper levels.
From foundation to topping out, the Mebane Town Center expansion showcases PDI’s ability to deliver complex structural framing systems at scale, on time, safely, and with the craftsmanship commercial developers depend on.
