New ground-up 3-story lower classroom building construction by PDI
Performance Drywall was proud to support Providence Day School’s campus expansion with the construction of a new three-story Lower Classroom Building, an educational facility designed to enhance learning environments and accommodate the school’s growing community. This ground-up project required precise framing, durable exterior systems, and clean interior finishes suitable for high-use academic spaces.

PDI provided all exterior metal stud framing, establishing the structure’s building envelope and supporting the architectural layout across all three floors. This framework was finished with exterior gypsum sheathing, creating a strong, weather-resistant substrate ready for the school’s final façade materials.
Inside the building, our team completed full interior metal framing, shaping classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared learning areas with accuracy and consistency. We then installed wall insulation and drywall, ensuring proper acoustic separation, energy performance, and a clean, finished interior ready for final paint and fixtures.
The project also included aluminum drywall reveals for crisp, modern detailing, along with FRP panels in high-durability areas where easy maintenance and impact resistance are essential in a school environment.
